Cardano's development company, IOHK, has released its weekly report, highlighting significant developments made within the Cardano ecosystem. One significant milestone for Cardano was the successful completion of Fund10 voting in Project Catalyst. It involved 1,467 concepts competing for a massive prize pool of 50 million ADA tokens, with the Cardano community now controlling the fate of these projects.
The voting process addressed 13 critical concerns for Cardano's future, with ADA token holders playing a critical role in picking projects with high potential.
The report also detailed major advancements achieved by multiple teams working on Cardano's core technology. Among these were performance improvements, network enhancements, more multi delegation features, and enhanced ledger hardware wallet support for dApps and smart contracts.
The Hydra team enhanced the commit mechanism, while the Plutus Core team simplified the encoding of unique data types. Last but not least, advancements in on-chain governance mechanisms were recognized as ongoing governance improvement.
