Ripple has partnered with blockchain technology research lab SUPER HOW? for the Axiology project. Both companies will test and issue cryptocurrencies such as CBDC and stablecoins with this project. 

Axiology is an infrastructure system for the trading and settlement of tokenized securities. Built on the foundation of XRP Ledger, the project enables multiple layers of capital market infrastructure to exist on a single technology layer, making processes more efficient and launching new business models.

The partnership aligns with the EU DLT Pilot Scheme and the Digital Finance Package, aimed at promoting the adoption of cryptocurrencies and cross-border payments with digital currencies. 

In addition, the Axiology project provides a valuable opportunity for European banks to practice issuing and using CBDCs.
